I Went To Photograph Some Meteors And Some Northern Lights Broke Out...

Due to a big solar flare heading our way Friday September 12th, there is a great chance of getting a glimpse of the Northern Lights! Thought I'd repost about the time I went to photograph some meteors and instead got treated to the Aurora Borealis! And of course share tips on how to shoot them!

NEW CAMELOPARDALIDS METEOR SHOWER FRIDAY NIGHT! Here's how to photograph them!

So there is a new metor shower happening this Friday evening (May 23rd!), the Camelopardalids! (Read about them here, here, and here.) They are predicting possibly 100-400 meteors per hour, which means some great possible photographs. But since it's a new shower...it could nothing!
Not like you have anything better to do on Friday night anyway, so get out your tripods, grab a coffee, and go shoot them! Here's some tips on how!
