One Day Advanced Photoshop Course

Hello all! I have changed my upcoming course plans, and I am now going to be teaching a one day Advanced Photoshop Course, Sunday May 31st.

Sunday May 31st 9-4:30pm
Location: V.A. Snow Centre, Hamton
Cost: $75, includes a comprehensive manual complete with all information/techniques covered with illustrations.

About the Course
As a user of Photoshop on a daily basis over the past ten years, I will teach more advanced Photoshop tools and techniques you can use to manipulate and enhance your images and improve your workflow!

Topics covered will include:

-getting better color from your digital camera with color space-sRGB/Adobe RGB
-advanced retouching, sharpening, burning and dodging techniques
-advanced layers(layer masks/adjustment layers)
-Improved workflow-actions, image processor, batch, quick keys

Required for the course:
-A mac or PC laptop with the following software installed
-Must be Photoshop CS2/CS3/CS4
(NOT ELEMENTS, as it lacks many of the advanced tools we will be working with. You could download the 30 day CS4 trial and use that, then upgrade if you need to or see what techniques you can use with elements)
If you have not yet purchased a version of photoshop, you can download
demo software here: www.adobe.com
(you will need to register for an adobe ID, but you then can get access
to lots of stuff) NOTE-THE DOWNLOADS ARE A THIRTY DAY TRIAL, WHICH STARTS ONCE YOU DOWNLOAD THE DEMO, NOT WHEN YOU INSTALL IT. SO IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE THE DEMO VERSION, DOWNLOAD IT THE WEEK BEFORE THE COURSE!
-images! A full list of required shots will be given, I will also provide examples for students to work on.

Prerequisite: Must know the basic tools and techniques of photoshop. If you’ve taken the 2 day beginner course, you are set. If you aren’t sure of your level, send me an email.
